Trevor Resar suffered one of the scariest and worst injuries a paintball player could have happen. He was shot in the eye from inches away. Yes, he was wearing goggles. No, the incident was not a malicious, but really a freak accident that to our knowledge hasn't happen in our sport in a long time.

Overall our sport is one of the safest sports you could play at any level, until you take you goggles off or lose your eye protection with loaded and ready to fire paintball guns anywhere near you. In Trevor's case he was playing paintball just another point, when he ran into another player casing his goggles to come off his head.
